Discount

To qualify for 2.5% discount, rates (together with any arrears or interest) must be paid in full and received by Town Office on or prior to the due date shown on the rates notice. The onus rests on the ratepayer to ensure that rates are received by the close of business on the due date in order to receive discount.

Always check your Rate Notice for correct details. If unsure contact the Town Office.

Interest

Compound interest at the rate of 11% per annum is charged on overdue rates and charges. This charge is effective from 1 July 2005.
