Changes to Pool Access   We have received legal advice that public pool access should only occur when a qualified attendant supervises the area.     6 am – 11 am; & 2 pm – 6 pm each day except Tues. 6 am – 9am; & 2 pm – 6 pm Tues   All scheduled activities will continue during this time as usual.  Group activities with adequate qualified supervision can operate outside these hours.   This will continue until further notice.   During this period key holders can enter the pool during the supervised hours.   Those members of the public who cannot show proof of a pool key will need to pay the entry fee of $1 per visit for adults and 50 cents for children and pensioners.   While we regret this change in access, public safety is our priority.   We are continuing to lobby the State Government for $1.5 million towards the proposed $3 million aquatic centre for Weipa.  Comalco has committed $1 million and we have committed $500,000 towards this facility.   Rules NO Diving NO Running NO Spitting NO Alcohol Showers are to be used prior to entering the pool Children under the age of 8, must be accompanied by an adult Proposed Swimming Pool & Sports Complex Proposed Swimming Pool & Sports Complex Information Floor Plan Staged Floor Plan Construction Master Plan Design Features Site Analysis East View West South View Feasibilty Study Report     Weipa Swimming Club or Link to www.weipa.biz Weipa Swimming Club For information please call Rosa or Barry Murray on 4069 7637
